The building’s energy performance is maintained, in part, through use of a sophisticated building automation system.
Building systems include an underfloor air distribution system (UFAD) and rooftop units for heating and cooling. Thermostats, floor level diffusers and the building automation system maintain thermal comfort. Carbon dioxide sensors are used to control outside air.
A green cleaning policy has been implemented in the building and green cleaning products are used. Recycling bins are located inside and outside the building and employees have been trained on their use.
Employees are encouraged to bike to work and use the fitness center. They are provided with conveniently located parking spaces for their fuel efficient vehicles or for carpooling.
